September 20th Weekly Letter

Hey everyone . Yet another week has gone by in the mish. Time is flying. October is right around the corner. But this week was not just an ordinary week. This week was loco. I havent run from appointment to appointment before like this. We ran so much this week and put in some extra time. We had to run home 3 times to make it home on time. But as you know, our area is very far away so it was necessary to be able to get to all the appointments. 

Today we have a baptism. Tino. He is 63 and very excited to be baptized. The reason we were running so much was to cover all the ground and to achieve the standard of the mission. Which is a set of numbers that you have to achieve along with having a baptism. its really hard to get especially in the office. i dont think it has ever been done. So were not there yet but were so close! Its exciting.

Im trying to think of what happened this week....we have met a lot of new people and have a ton of new investigators this week. 6 new baptismal dates and 7 new investogators. It was a great week. We have been cooking a lot of spaghetti and stuff.Its been good.

The interview for Tino was 1 hour and 30 minutes with the zone leaders. The reason it took so long was becasue Tino likes talking and also becasue he was still questioning joseph smith and what not. He said Joesph Smith was a servant of the lord and a good man but he just was a little iffy is all. He also is iffy a little about hte prophet today, but he says he feels good about it all and is excited to hear conference and learn more and accept the prophet. So that is whats new with Tino. He wioll be baptized later today! I will have the prevlilige to baptize him as well! I will send photos next week.
