Poky Week 4

This week was full of new things. Kind of. Sounds like home is going good still! POOR LILLY! oh my goodness. I cant imagine. Mom, if you go to the cabin alone, bring the glock. Dad, you met Uchtdorf!? at a golf course? im jealous. Tyler and his chick fil-a haha. Andrew and Tasha with their new life in Texas sounds sweet. Sea World, painting walls, teaching deacons. All seems to be well. I hope Lilly starts doing better :(

I will try sending more pictures next week. maybe one a week. did you get my other pictures?

Well,
I am going to start doing my emails like Elder Call does them. Its classy and organized.

Monday- P-Day. Pdays are always the best. We drove down into Pocatello with our Zone leaders who are cool. Elder Morales and Solorio. Both from mexico and are Bi-lengual. Also spanish elders. We played basketball and got sushi there (all you can eat). It was gooooooood. best sushi ever. Then went home and worked for a little and visited families.

Tuesday- Zone Training Day. from 10:30-1:30 I hate meetings but im numb to them now. Time doesnt exist i dont care to look at a clock because its pointless. The meeting is over when its over. It was good though we discussed lots of mission stuff/ Rules and what not. In the evening we stopped by the sandoval family and shared the restoration and they are planning on getting baptized (husband and wife) when miguel their son is out of jail in 2 weeks.

wednesday- Normal day. Appointments and tracting. We walked into town which is about 5 miles but about 10 steps in, a member picked us up. We were walkijng in the town with busy cars and stuff and ran into a kid with a red hat and saggy jeans named Rudy. He was way nice and we set up an appointment with him for later.

Thursday- Normal day. Kind of dead. nothing special.

Friday- We had our first exchanges with the Zone Leaders, Morales and Solorio. I went with solorio. he has been out 22 months. Hes seasoned and really helped me and our area out. He got the area book out and i didnt even know anything about an area book. But we visited a lot of people and set up lots of appointments. it was great. The auto garage we always stop by, we finally got a lesson in about prophets. it was right there in the auto garage and was hot but we think they will be baptized soon. Then we had dinner (ribs, corn on the cob, and scalloped potatoes) reminded me of a mom meal. Was so goood. There was a down syndrom boy at the table lol he had about 50 ribs. Delicious. after we went and invited people to spanish conference on saturday/sunday. we went out with president and one of his councelors went with other elders.

Saturday- Spanish Conference. We drove with Carlos to Menan. OK. Carlos is legit. He speaks only spanish but were like freinds. He is about 30. but still. He has a red gmc truck thats lowered with 22" rims haha. With a sound system that would blow a dress off an old woman. He plays some sick spanish music though haha. Anyways the conference was in Menan next to rexburg sort of. All it was was an all day party outside with a soccer tournament, food, music and stuff. One of our investigators showed up so that was good. We took second in the tourny by the way. I always play defense cause i suck otherwise.

Sunday- Spanish conference at BYU-I. We had conference right where my church sacrament was in the Kimpball auditorium. I saw my old ward there.....from college. We ate right in front of the arts building after. Then went home. Then to a dinner appointment authentic mexican it was soooo gooood. Then talked about cars with the kids who are 25-18-16-14-9-8-4 and 2 other young ones. Lots of kids who want me to come back with my car and see them. Sunday was good.

My week was good. I am sort of just numb at this point as far as time goes. I just think about working hard and having fun. Seems to be working. Thank you everyone for the emails. It helps a lot. I miss you all and will try to post pictures next week. Love you all. Chow.
